It has an onboard master volume control, headphone output, mute button, and a microphone gain control button. But the coolest thing of all is its polar pattern selector. Switch it into stereo for your first ASMR video. Use Bidirectional mode to record two people at the same time. Drop it into the Cardioid mode for focused recordings of guitars and vocals. And for meetings and band practices, Omnidirectional mode will do the trick. Whatever polar pattern you're using, the Blue Yeti X records it all at an impressive 24-bit/48kHz audio resolution.

Yeti X is plug ‘n play on Mac and PC right out of the box, but it also integrates deeply with Logitech’s G HUB platform for even more control. CARDIOID MODE

Well-suited to podcasting, game streaming, Skype calls, vocals and instruments, cardioid mode captures sound sources that are directly in front of the microphone. It delivers a rich, full-bodied sound.

BIDIRECTIONAL MODE

Bidirectional mode records from both the front and the rear of the microphone. It is ideal for recording or streaming interviews between two people.

OMNI MODE

Omni mode picks up sound equally from all around the mic. It’s best used in situations when you want to capture the ambience of "being there," like a conference call.

STEREO MODE

Stereo mode uses both the left and right channels and is ideal for capturing a realistic sound image when there are multiple sound sources in front of the mic.
